After graduating from college, I served as a Captain in the 82nd Airborne Division. That experience shaped me in many ways. After leaving the military, I began my career in business and have been an entrepreneur ever since.
But throughout my career, writing has remained a passion. That passion led me to create The Special Guest: A Christmas Story and Legend of the Wooden Star.
What began with these stories has continued to grow into something much larger—connecting books, new stories, and film projects.

Sometimes A Stranger
Arrives for A Reason.
The holidays have arrived in Richmond,
but for the Reid family, Christmas is also a painful
reminder of the accident that changed their
lives one year earlier.
Teenager Scott Reid encounters an elderly stranger
named Zachery sitting outside a local supermarket
on a cold Christmas weekend.
Concerned that the man has been stranded,
Scott invites him home for dinner.
But Zachery's arrival brings unexpected events that
challenge the Reid family to confront the tragedy
that has left nine-year-old Jenny in a coma—
and to consider what it truly means to
build a bridge with the person responsible.
On Christmas morning, the family discovers
that their mysterious guest has disappeared
during the night. Only then do they begin to uncover
the true identity of their Special Guest—
and the miracle he leaves behind.

Sometimes a miracle is

Christmas has arrived in Richmond,
but one family is facing a crisis that threatens
to overshadow the holiday.
An eleven-year-old boy battling leukemia is
returning to Richmond Children's Hospital
after his cancer has returned.
His only hope is a bone marrow transplant.
For a brief moment, the family receives
what seems to be an answer to prayer:
a perfect donor match has been found.
But that hope suddenly disappears
when the donor changes their mind.
Meanwhile, a mysterious man dressed
in ancient Middle Eastern robes arrives in
downtown Richmond. He seems
invisible to everyone around him,
yet he has come for a very specific reason—
and the future of a young boy
may depend on his mission.
As the story unfolds, a mysterious star,
a hospital, a family facing
unimaginable uncertainty, and a stranger from another time become
connected in an extraordinary story of faith, hope, and miracle.
